  • Two Fiberglass Center Rings

Specifications:

  • Length: 30"

  • Diameter 1.6" (38mm)

  • Weight: 12oz

  • Motor Mount: 29mm

  • Fins: 1/16" G10

Construction

This is a bare bones kit and NOT for Beginners.

There are NO instructions, me bucko, so experience buildin' a fiberglass rocket is very helpful.

You have t' provide your own recovery equipment (parachute, arrr, me bucko, shock chord, etc.) and decide how t' attach it.

If you want a motor retainer it must be purchased seperately.

I pre-built t' Motor assembly with fins and shock chord attached, extended t' fin slots t' t' aft end and slipped t' assembly into place and epoxied.

NOTE: I used an 29mm Aero Pack Motor Retainer. Ahoy!  T' screw cap for t' retainer is slightly larger than t' I.D. Avast, me proud beauty! Aye aye! o' t' body tube so I had t' calculate very accurately how far t' motor tube had t' extend from t' end o' t' airframe and still leave room for t' retainer cap t' snug. Begad!  This calculation revealed that t' front center rin' would flush with t' front end o' t' motor tube.  This would have prevented havin' a nice strong filet on t' forward side o' t' center rin' so I scraped t' kit motor tube and substituted a 6.5 inch fiberglass motor tube (extra 0.5 inches)

Finishing

Easy Finishin' as with most fiberglass kits because o' t' lack o' seams and mold flashing

1.  Clean all surfaces

2. Blimey!  Lightly sand

3. Well, blow me down!  Two coats o' primer

4.  Two coats o' paint

5. Begad! Ya scallywag!  Apply Custom decal from Stickershock

6. Arrr!  Finish coat o' Pledge Floor Care
