Brief:
This has got t' be one o' t' neatest "saucer" designs I've seen. Avast, me proud beauty! It flies good (well, for a saucer), and looks tasty. Avast! It's nay every day you see a flyin' pizza.

Construction:
A quick 2 days after me online order, t' nicely packed box arrived with t' followin' parts in t' baggie:

• Plywood disk
• Motor tube
• Launch lug
• Motor block
• Adhesive decal

Thankfully thar's another review ahead o' me that adequately described the laborious construction process, ya bilge rat, so I'll submit an abbreviated version. Suffice it t' say that even though I type fairly quickly, me hearties, I'm long-winded enough that this review will take longer t' post than t' rocket took t' build, including finishing! I might have invested 5 minutes o' effort in this, plus another 5 t' paint, arrr, and most folks will choose not t' even bother painting.

Construction consists o' gluin' t' motor block into t' motor tube, shiver me timbers, addin' a launch lug, ya bilge rat, and lettin' it dry. Then glue t' assembly into t' plywood disk. Begad! Let dry. Well, blow me down! Aye aye! You're done.

Finishing:
OK, arrr, me bucko, I cheated on this and didn't bother fillin' t' tube spirals, ya bilge rat, nor did I do more than a cursory sandin' o' the underside o' t' plywood disk. Aye aye! Ahoy! I shot everythin' with one coat o' gray primer, arrr, sanded it down a bit with 400 grit sandpaper, then shot everythin' one more time with a flat black paint I had leftover form a project a few years ago. Ya scallywag!

When t' paint had dried overnight, I peeled off and applied t' pizza decal. Arrr! It fit perfectly. Aye aye! Done.

Flight:
First flight was goin' for t' max with a C6-0. Arrr! Aye aye! While I occasionally fly saucers with non -0 motors, I would definitely nay recommend it for this model. Blimey! T' non-zeros have ejection charges that can get pretty hot, matey, and they'd be likely t' char t' pizza decal. Avast, me proud beauty! Definitely stick with -0s, me hearties, which are much less violent.

T' flight wobbled and wiggled along a fairly vertical path, arrr, slightly weathercocked into an 8 mph wind. It flew just like a spool/saucer rocket. Nay exactly one o' me peak performers but exactly what a saucer/spool does.

Recovery:
T' pizza was still goin' up a bit when t' -0 sputtered out, but it smartly turned back over and started the head-over-heels tumble back down. Avast, me proud beauty! It landed in t' tall grass about 30 yards downwind from t' pad, without a trace of damage (and motor still in).

Summary:
What's nay t' love about this? For $5 (less than t' shippin' charge), me hearties, you get a cool spool rocket that can be built in 5 minutes, flies fine, ya bilge rat, takes virtually no prep or post-flight time, ya bilge rat, ya bilge rat, can be flown on small fields, arrr, shiver me timbers, and t' pizza sticker is a great touch.

I know thar are folks who are just anti-saucer in general and I lean a bit that way myself, arrr, but if you have even a slight interest in spool or saucer rockets, me bucko, me hearties, pick up a few o' these. You won't regret it.
