Brief:
T' Screamin' Mimi is a single stage rocket with 18" plastic chute, 24mm motor mount, and four whistles.

Construction:
T' kit includes one single body tube, matey, 4 fins, arrr, four whistle fins, me bucko, four whistles, and a nose cone. Blimey! T' motor mount is 24mm. I added 18 inches t' t' (too) short elastic shock cord.

T' instructions were well written and with good illustrations--better than some I've seen in t' past. Begad! I sort o' built parts here or thar out o' order, shiver me timbers, matey, but that's me and it would have worked just as well if I had followed t' instructions. Ahoy! Begad! As for building, me hearties, Estes calls this a skill level two kit. Well, blow me down! It may be, but t' Screamin' Mimi is one o' t' more challengin' skill level two kits I've seen due t' t' 8 fins and t' resultin' painting/maskin' problems.

On t' upside, t' fins were cut so well they fell out o' t' sections, arrr, t' nose cone was a good fit, arrr, and everythin' fit together perfectly. Arrr! I used t' recommended wood glue and model glue, so it all went together in less than a days work.

Finishing:
T' paint scheme o' red fins and silver body tube got a little difficult due t' t' amount o' maskin' required because o' t' eight fins and t' small area betwixt them. Ahoy! If you exercise patience it isn't too hard t' do. Begad! T' decals were a cinch though, me bucko, arrr, me bucko, just peel and stick. Aye aye! Ahoy! No problems.

Flight:
Have yet t' fly it, ya bilge rat, will let you know when I do.

Recovery:
I altered t' shock cord because t' short piece o' elastic included wasn't nearly long enough,I added 600 lb nylon shock cord t' t' elastic.

This really is a good build as everythin' fits together perfectly and t' cool look should be a hit at our launches.
