Brief
From Quest:
High-Q is a great lookin' and performin' mid-size rocket. Aye aye! Over 30 inches tall, ya bilge rat, t' kit features blowmolded plastic nose cone, me hearties, ya bilge rat, laser-cut balsa fins and a rugged 29mm diameter motor mount. Begad! Flights with an Aerotech F32-6W will go t' almost 3,000 feet. Then your High-Q will recover gently on t' big 18" fabric parachute. Begad! Includes big, easy-to-apply self adhesive decals. Ahoy! Begad! Also includes 24mm engine mount adapter that allows you t' use 24mm diameter engines.
Recommended Motors: D12-3, D12-5, E9-4, me bucko, E9-6 - Aerotech E20-4W, arrr, E20-7W, F32-6W, F20-7W.

Construction
T' instructions were very good and construction be very easy. Blimey! T' instructions call for t' Keelhaul®©™ cord t' be wrapped around t' motor mount tube and passed into t' main body tube and thus secured t' t' elastic o' t' recovery system. Arrr! Blimey! I found that I needed t' notch t' forward centerin' rin' with a hobby knife t' allow t' Keelhaul®©™ t' pass.
I did modify t' design slightly by addin' a home-made engine retainer usin' a PVC compression fitting. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast, me proud beauty! I also ended up replacin' t' elastic shock cord with a 3' length o' 3mm utility cord.
Finishing
Finishin' was very easy. Avast! T' most difficult part be findin' a good purple spray paint.
Flight
Usin' an AT E20-7 provides a very nice flight. Arrr! Avast, me proud beauty! Even remainin' with t' E, ya bilge rat, shiver me timbers, a very large recovery area is needed.
Summary
I like this kit very much and can't wait t' get it out on t' range. Aye aye! T' addition o' plywood through t' wall fins, matey, me bucko, matey, a non-elastic shock cord, shiver me timbers, and a screw on motor retainer would make this kit outstanding.

I was a bit disappointed with this kit. The fins are balsa; for a rocket that flies on E and F motors, basswood or plywood would be more appropriate. As the reviewer noted, there is no motor retention. The parachute is made of thin, crinkly fabric and has a somewhat "cheap" feel.
I added a Madcow motor retainer and fiberglassed the fins. With these modifications it is a good rocket, but if you're just getting started in mid-power I would recommend that you go for an Aerotech or LOC kit instead.
