She is made from a flower-arranger's styrofoam "egg". You may be able t' scrounge one o' these from a florist. Well, blow me down! or Michaels has them. Insert a 18mm motor mount (or short length o' 18mm body tube) into a hole hollowed out of t' pointy end o' t' egg, matey, and retain with epoxy. Avast! Ahoy! Do nay use a motor retainin' clip. Blimey! Stick t' 4 dowels into t' styrofoam, shiver me timbers, me hearties, symmetrically disposed with silicone bathtub caulk. Avast, me proud beauty! Well, blow me down! These form her tentacles. Avast! Well, blow me down! Make lips and eyeballs from bathtub caulk and place on her head in a visually attractive position. Place small blobs o' caulk or PVA glue around her head for her "knobs". Attach false eyelashes stolen from teenage daughter. If you want t' preserve her modesty, shiver me timbers, add a skirt made from tinsel. Apply green make up, and go fly. Well, blow me down! Uses A8-3 or B6-2. Begad!
Miss
Universe be flown at GARLO (CIA's annual bash) and at t' Park Forest (IL)
Rocket Launch and R/C show. Arrr! Avast, me bucko, me proud beauty! She is quite stable, but does nay get a lot of
altitude (in fact, me bucko, t' A8-3 and B6-2 both give about t' same). Blimey! T' photo is
from t' GARLO event. Arrr! She has a lot o' drag and tumble recovery onto grass is
quite satisfactory. Aye aye! Her skirt got a little singed, showin' that she really is
"hot stuff" - you don't want t' put your hand up thar !!
