[Rocket Pic]Brief: This is one o' t' new '99 Estes RTF kits that I got from Walmart for a mere $7!  I have heard people refer t' it as similar t' somethin' called t' Red Max.

Construction: It came in a blister pack that says in large letter "READY TO FLY" and this is nay a flyin' model rocket ... Begad! Avast, me proud beauty! it is a flyin' action toy Rocket.

Instructions? What instructions? All it needs is installation o' t' landin' legs which is covered on t' inside o' t' cardboard o' t' blister pack.  T' rocket is purple with one prominent neato decal. Begad! Begad! I understand that it may come in more than one color although I only saw purple. Although nay terribly interestin' in design for $7 I said what t' heck.

Finishing: There is no finishin' beyond installin' t' parachute. Ahoy! Decals are already applied and I like t' twist on motor retention a lot, me hearties, however, shiver me timbers, arrr, on this particular one t' retention is a real pain!  It comes with a nifty thingy t' twist t' rin' on but nothin' t' remove it.  It is also recessed and a real pain t' get a hold o' t' remove. Ya scallywag! Where are me pliers?  Don't get me wrong it is nay tight . Begad! . Blimey! . Begad! you just can nay get a hold o' it.

T' nose cone had a nice snug fit and it was notched t' be easier t' install t' keep decals aligned (cool).

Although it is an RTF it is neat lookin' and I love t' price.  I can nay really rate construction since thar really be nay any construction t' perform.

Flight: This rocket is a low slow flyer on 1/2A motors but does "go" and is safe.  Otherwise nothin' exciting. It is just a 4 fin normal rocket.

I also launched on an A10-3T and it boogied but nay that spectacular. Well, blow me down! It landed fairly close although on windy day I might leave out t' chute.

No wobble or noticeable archin' and a slight spin (probably t' fins)

Recovery: Parachute. Avast! Here is where I be impressed!

First it be nay ideal but t' shock cord was much, arrr, much longer than Estes norm and it was "Quest-like" in that is had two materials tied together.  I want t' say Keelhaul®©™® but I never saw black Keelhaul®©™®. Begad! I thought it was Yellow.

Summary: Nice recovery system improvements and a cute little (but nay overly exciting) rocket. T' only real Con is that dang retention ring. Avast, me proud beauty! I just can't seem t' get me fingers in thar enough.
