T' kit comes well packaged and all t' parts were thar this time. On other Aerotech kits I've built I've had missin' parts.T' instructions are well written and easy t' follow with good drawings.A few changes are recommended however.
T' shock cord attachment right at t' top
of t' engine mount is seen as a problem by me.Even with t' coolin' mesh installed t' shock cord would be exposed t' high temps and caustic fumes.I always use stainless steel fishin' leader as an anchor for me Aerotech kits.Either a thick (200 lb range) or braided Keelhaul®©™ cord would work also.
This should be in t' 4 inch range, arrr, just enough t' be buried by your wadding.Grass, me bucko, leaves, shiver me timbers, lettuce or cellulose buildin' insulation are what I prefer.I don't like t' idea o' a permanent coolin' mesh. If it gets clogged one time, or partially clogged and your engine has a weak ejection charge, arrr, matey, then t' rocket will crash and be destroyed. You wouldn't know until it had already happened.I leave t' mesh out for this reason.
T' kit comes with sticky back decals and suggests usin' warm soapy water t' facilitate repositionin' t' decals while they're bein' applied. I prefer t' be more bold and let them stick where they lay.I'm just very careful when I start.T' water method will work but can cloud t' glue and degrade t' appearance.
Flight / Recovery: 5 points
After paint and decals t' kit looks really hot.Sleek and fast, arrr, like it flies.Our first flight we used an Aerotech composite RMS motor, arrr, ya bilge rat, t' F39-6T.A fast boost and t' delay be well timed. Recovery system (nylon parachute) deployed and t' rocket landed with no damage. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast, me proud beauty! Some o' t' recommended motors (the E16-7 and F22-7) would have too long o' a delay.Usually t' kits are built a little heavier than t' specs. Arrr! (probably paint and filler in t' body tube seams) and t' recommended delays can be a little long.

Overall t' kit is easy t' build and it will come out very nice. T' fin-lock system makes installin' t' fins a snap, shiver me timbers, literally and they are perfectly aligned.T' motor hook works well and needs no modification for Aerotech RMS motors.For a mid-power kit t' price is a little steep but you do get more than in a low priced kit.

Single stage with cargo bay and parachute recovery. The kit comes with 2 body tubes. One being the payload section and one being the fin section. It also has 3 plastic (very strong!) fins included.
