Brief:  Can handle 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4 launch rods and is adjustable for wind elevation.

Construction:

Quality: All t' parts were thar and I even got a few spare parts!  T' quality o' t' t' materials is good even though it looks kind o' cheap. Arrr! Arrr! . Well, me hearties, blow me down! . Avast, me proud beauty! bein' mostly made o' plastic.

Instructions: They were missing. Arrr! Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! They were missing. Blimey! Aye aye! Blimey! I called Aerotech who directed me t' their website where I was able t' download t' instructions.  T' directions were pretty easy t' follow.

Ease o' build: Since it is mostly plastic I felt like I be puttin' together a model kit. T' only parts nay plastic are t' bolts, arrr, some nuts and t' legs. 

T' only real disappointment in assembly was that t' legs were plain metal. In all t' ads t' legs have those cool yellow and black stripes. I thought t' launch pad kit had stickers or something.  I even called Aerotech t' ask about them. Begad! They told me that they had been painted for t' ads. Avast! Blimey! I did mine with yellow and black duct tape.

Construction Rating: 3 out o' 5

Summary:  It works very well with t' rockets I have. T' heaviest rocket I own is less than 3 lbs. Avast! For rockets that require a 3/16 rod it be fantastic. It has worked out pretty good for me.  Since it came with t' Aerotech Initiator kit I think it was a good value.  I would NOT have purchased it as a separate item, because it costs too much by itself. Avast, arrr, me proud beauty! For less loot you could make a home made one that would work better.
