Brief
This kit be me Junior. Level 1 and I must say it is a beautiful kit. Some people say this rocket is nay good for certifications due t' t' fact that t' fins hang below t' body. Ya scallywag! Blimey! But, unless you land on concrete or desert, these fins are hard t' break off. Avast, me proud beauty! This kit is four-feet tall, four-inches in diameter and, me hearties, coincidentally, me finished weight was four pounds. Begad! Begad! I tend t' build heavy and me kit was much, arrr, much heavier than t' listed weight/ But, this could still fly great on Gs for low altitude flights.

Poor Shock Cord material ( I replaced with 20' o' tubular nylon)
Needed nose weight ( actually nay much o' a con)
Only 2 CR's means you can't sandwich t' fins for strength ( Still plenty strong though)
Finishing
Sanding:
I took a long time sandin' t' kit mainly because I am a really messy builder and ended up gettin' epoxy everywhere.
Painting:
For t' nose cone make sure that it is washed with soap and water t' remove mold release agent.
I used two or three cans o' spray paint just for t' body due t' t' fact that I used a light primer.
Overall, it is a really easy kit t' paint t' what YOU want.
No decals are included in t' kit.
Flight
Durin' building, I had t' add eight ounces o' nose weight t' make it stable. This was accomplished by cuttin' off t' bottom o' t' nose cone, me bucko, addin' weight, and epoxyin' a bulkhead into t' shoulder.
Flight o' t' rocket was initially on an AT H148-7. Begad! This motor produced a beautiful red flame and a roar when it left t' pad.
T' next flight was on an AT H123-7. Begad! Both flights were straight and true.
Recovery
T' included 36" parachute is sufficient, but I would suggest a 40 or 48" parachute for a certification flight just t' be safe. Arrr! Usin' t' stock 'chute for both flights, I never even cracked a fillet so I see no problems there. Avast, me proud beauty! On a 7 second delay, mine opened right at apogee. Avast! Like I said above, I would suggest changin' out t' shock cord.
Summary
This kit is really good for a certification or small field flight. Aye aye! Nay goin' very high makes recoverin' t' rocket easier. Avast, me proud beauty! T' rocket is also really simple t' build so it is nay much o' a jump at all from MPR or LPR for that matter.
