Brief:
This is a real quick buildin' modroc.

Construction:
All o' t' parts are pre-colored t' make finishin' much easier. Avast! T' fins lock into a fin canister that is mounted into t' back o' t' rocket. Avast! T' fins and canister are both plastic. Well, blow me down! T' parachute is much better than t' Estes parachute. I love t' Quest shock cord assembly. Begad! Blimey! It comes with a 12" Keelhaul®©™® and a 12" elastic string. Overall t' components are very good quality for this model.

PROs: instructions are very easy t' follow with diagrams for every step. Very easy assembly as it's an almost ready t' fly model and it's cheap. Arrr! Good quality components

CONs: T' fins and t' body tube are close in color but nay too much. Arrr! It's OK for a sport model (hence t' name).

Finishing:
Decals came with t' model. Blimey! They are good quality and easy t' put on. Begad! No paintin' is required.

Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5

Courtesy of QuestFlight:
I have only flown this model once. I wanted a low flight so I chose t' A8-3. Despite t' size, this rocket bulleted off o' t' pad. Well, blow me down! Ahoy! This really surprised me because o' t' rocket's diameter. Arrr! Good flight even though t' parachute didn't fully open. Blimey! There was no damage.

Recovery:
I used t' stock parachute that came with t' model, shiver me timbers, but t' parachute didn't open. Blimey! I like t' parachute much better than Estes parachutes.

Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5

Summary:
This rocket goes together almost too fast. Begad! I was ready t' fly it in 10 minutes (and most o' that time was waitin' for t' epoxy t' dry). Avast, me proud beauty! Very good beginning model or just a fun one.

Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5

My best bet would be that this roc will see quite a following amongst us who feel a need for a cheap (cost wise, that is), sturdy (it will survive quite a beating if coming down hard on the fins) and..... errrr well Sporty! design. A rocket big enough to accommodate any good after-market ?chute without the hassle of having to try to stuff it down "a hole too small", and yet smallish enough to be flown on anything from A thru C. The small mods I made to the two I got just involves painting one body tube dark gray, the other bright red. Kinda like the red one the most, even though that the gray one seems to be even more visible against a clear blue sky. Only con I can find is that this roc is too big to easily be brought down on a streamer! But then again, that is exactly the same reason why I like it; It is big enough not to cause any problems getting ready for take off. Now all I need to do is to make and fit a couple of baffles...
