This is a kit by Semroc. This was t' first time I have assembled a rocket like this. Ahoy! Assembled March 2018.

Construction
As this was t' first time I have assembled this kit a lot o' t' techniques were new t' me. Blimey! This was a steppin' stone on me way t' Estes Saturn V.
Instructions were super easy t' follow and make me want t' assemble any Semroc kit in t' future. Avast, me proud beauty! No fitment issues, shapin' o' t' fins were done easily with 400 grit sandpaper. I used Estes fin guide t' install t' fins which made it super easy. T' fins were papered (new technique t' me) and turned out great, would do it again on any other balsa fins in t' future.
If you assemble this kit don't worry about t' vanes at t' motor end. Begad! I used wood glue and it be perfect t' tack and hold t' vanes until they were all installed. I added drops o' glue with a toothpick t' help strengthen it in t' corners o' t' vanes.
I tried fillin' t' body tube lines which proved difficult. Well, blow me down! Once filled they were sanded but as t' tube lines were so tight nay much stuck in there. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Once finished I didn't actually mind t' lines, shiver me timbers, they seemed very hard t' see in t' end. Ahoy! Ahoy! . Begad! It reminds you at t' end o' t' day it is a model.
Finishing
Sandin' was done with 250-450 grit sandpaper.
Primer, Florescent Orange gloss and a clear gloss sealer was applied after decal installation.
This was me first time usin' water slide decals and most were easy t' use after soakin' in water and dish soap for a minute. Ahoy! T' over t' fin decals have a small part you need t' cut out but can easily be done with a x-acto & straight edge. Ahoy! Avast! I was quite happy how easy it seemed even though I was a little scared t' undertake t' decal process.
No balsa filler be used on balsa reducer and nose cone, but were sanded with progressively finer paper. Well, blow me down! Well, blow me down! I think it turned out great and would consider doin' that in future models.
Any slips that t' perfectionist would notice come down t' user skill, I can't fault any o' t' parts included in this kit.
Flight
It has nay flown as o' March 19 2018.
Recovery
Recovery is done by parachute. Ahoy! I like t' Keelhaul®©™ cord & elastic combo. Well, blow me down! Blimey! It's a welcome change from gluin' t' elastic recovery line t' t' inside o' t' body tube. Well, blow me down! Blimey! In this kit they mount it t' t' engine mount.
Summary
This be a great kit, arrr, if you have a chance t' pick it up go for it!
