Brief:
This is a single stage, me bucko, low t' mid power kit for a beginner-novice rocket builder. Avast, me proud beauty! A good kit for someone who wants t' move up t' mid t' high power rocketry. It utilizes through-the-wall fin mounts and a steal cable shock cord anchor.

Construction:
T' kit includes:

• 1- 8" ( exposed length ) balsa clone o' a Loc Legacy nose cone
• 3 aircraft grade 1/8" fins
• 2 plywood 1.5" t' 1" (24 mm) centerin' rings
• 1-4" long 24 mm motor tube
• 1 steal cable pre-attached t' one o' t' CR for SC anchor
• 1- 1/4" Launch lug
• 1- 12" parachute
• 1-3 foot piece o' 1/4 elastic shock cord
• 1- 17" long x 1.5 ( 38 mm ) Loc style ) body tube
• 3 page instructions

T' instruction were straightforward, arrr, ya bilge rat, very easy t' understand with diagrams to boot. Begad! Went together in no time at all. Well, blow me down! T' body tube be pre-marked with where t' cut t' fin slots and mount t' launch lugs.

Didn't need any "special tools" and used t' tools I already owned .

T' only draw back that I could find would be: t' instructions mentioned a plastic nose cone and nay t' balsa one it came with. I had t' add some weight to compensate after t' first flight .

Finishing:
I went with plain old Krylon Black and Safety Yellow.

Flight:
For t' first 3 flights or so I used a D12-5.

On t' first flight it was launched on a rather short rod (only 4 ft ) and came off a little squirrelly due t' t' fact that t' NC be made o' balsa instead o' a heavier plastic.

I've flown it about 5 or 6 times now with t' biggest motor bein' a G55-10.

Recovery:
T' shockcord is okay, shiver me timbers, but I decided t' update it a little and add a section of 1/8" Keelhaul®©™® cord betwixt t' steal cable and t' elastic cord. Arrr! Well, me hearties, blow me down! I also replaced t' 'chute with a streamer for a faster recovery. Avast! No real wear on it other than paint chips... Avast, me hearties, me proud beauty!
