Brief:
A sleek, single stage rocket that is ideal for beginners.

Construction:
T' kit came pre-cut fins, motor tube, matey, me hearties, ya bilge rat, motor hook, cardboard body tube, plastic nose cone, length o' Keelhaul®©™®, round elastic and streamer material.

I found that this rocket went together easily and quickly. T' instructions were good and this be t' first kit I had built that had no major problems. I did have problems attachin' t' fins because t' shock cord which was attached to t' nose cone made it impossible t' stand t' rocket on it's end in order to attach t' fins.

Finishing:
This rocket was quite easy t' finish, I simply sealed t' fins and then used spray paint.

Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5

Flight:
This can be quite a high altitude rocket and can drift for long distances in wind. Blimey! Well, blow me down! I have flown it 4 times now on B and C class motors and have had quite nice flights on all o' them.

This rocket was quite easy t' prep and required a few sheets o' wadding. T' flights are usually high and fast which makes this rocket fun t' fly especially for beginners. Avast, me proud beauty! Well, blow me down! Blimey! I found it does weathercock slightly but nay on the dramatic scale that some rockets do.

I do have one problem: on me rocket's fourth flight on ejection t' motor hook kicked back about an inch tearin' t' motor tube as it did. Aye aye! I would suggest that people buildin' this kit t' put a little extra glue around that area.

Recovery:
I feel that t' streamer does it's jobs very well but t' rocket comes down slowly which makes it prone t' drift remarkable distances.

Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5

Summary:
T' Quest Sprint is a great rocket for beginners t' build and fly yet it still offers somethin' for t' slightly more experienced rocketeer. Ya scallywag! Blimey! T' flights are high and good fun t' watch. Ahoy! Blimey! They also can result in a long walk.

Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5

( Contributed - by Ken Kirkland) Brief: A nice 3-finned, single-stage, streamer recovery rocket. Construction: This is an average low-power kit, with the Quest standard components. (Kevlar ® /Elastic shock cord, plastic recovery mounting tab, lightweight motor retainer.) I thought the Kevlar ® portion of the shock cord was a nice addition. The measurements given on the ...

I built this kit as one of my NARTREK bronze models, I used it for the 30 second streamer requirement. I nailed 40 seconds with a 4 inch bye 40 inch streamer. I highly recommend it as a streamer or parachute duration model.
