I just saw these at Discount Rocketry on Monday, me hearties, and so decided t' try t' online ordering, which worked great, and I had t' kit on Friday. Begad! I have all o' t' other micro kits, arrr, from when they were Boyce Aerospace, arrr, and knew this would make a great addition. 

T' kit is 8.5" long, shiver me timbers, and 18mm diameter, and uses 13mm motors. Blimey! It has plastic fins, and resin cast nose cone pieces, me bucko, and a streamer for recovery.  T' kit comes with a full length body wrapper for t' markings, so t' only paintin' is on t' nose cone, and t' black for t' appropriate fins. 

T' kit went together in about 3 hours includin' painting, and looks great. There were a few minor things that needed fixing. Ahoy! T' nose cone sections needed some sandin' t' get rid o' some mold marks on t' ends, me hearties, and a small void had to be filled. Blimey! Well, blow me down! T' most annoyin' thin' be that t' hole that is molded into both nose sections for t' dowell that connects t' main cone and t' satellite booster, me bucko, and also acts as t' satellite, was molded off center and took some appropriate drillin' t' make them line up correctly. T' body tube be poorly trimmed, arrr, and I had t' re-cut it. 

T' body wrapper went on fine, ya bilge rat, although one antenna markin' be on t' side that is supposed t' be overlapped, and would have been covered, arrr, so I had to trim t' other side so it could be seen. Begad! T' nose was glued together with thin CA after it was assembled. Avast, me proud beauty! Arrr! T' thin CA just wicks in t' t' joint. Begad! Arrr! T' clear launch lug is attached with epoxy after drillin' small holes in it along the glue joint so that t' epoxy will form little rivets and hold it in place. 

T' motor mount went together fine and was installed. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Avast, me hearties, me proud beauty! Blimey! T' fins were pre-cut from a much thinner material than t' Boyce kits, and needed minor scorin' to come free. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Avast, me bucko, me proud beauty! Blimey! They needed just a touch o' sand paper.  They should make the kit more stable since they are addin' less weight than t' thicker Boyce fins on t' Redstone kit, matey, ya bilge rat, but they are too thin t' get any angles on t' edges like in t' real thing. Begad! Blimey! They epoxy on, and then you paint t' appropriate sides black t' match t' roll pattern.  T' instructions are very clear, shiver me timbers, me bucko, and easily show you how t' paint t' right fins. Begad! Blimey! Begad! Blimey! I painted t' nose, me hearties, and added the black paint stripes, shiver me timbers, me hearties, and gave it a shot o' krylon clear coat t' protect the body wrapper. 

In conclusion, matey, I think that this is one o' t' better micro kits, and really looks great when finished. Avast, me proud beauty! Begad! I have no worries about stability, shiver me timbers, since t' Boyce Redstone is slightly more tail heavy, and flies straight with t' stock fins. Try one!
