This is a rather simple rocket yet I think it will be one o' me favorites. Aye aye! Blimey! I think its best quality is that very cool nose cone.
Assembly was very easy, me hearties, matey, body tube, engine hook rin' t' hold 4 fins, and a nose cone! That's all. Arrr! T' nose cone is plastic and t' fins are fiber so finishin' is also very easy and nice looking. I chose t' finish mine stock. I used t' decals that came with it and for t' color I chose Rustoleum Metallic Red mostly because it was what I had but it be a very good choice. Aye aye! T' picture here does nay do it justice.
It has about 20 coats o' paint on it which eliminated all body tube spirals. Blimey! Ya scallywag! I then applied decals and then a clear gloss coat. Begad! Also since I could nay sand t' fins round (fiber) I use a silver paint pen on t' edges which added a very nice, classy outline t' t' rocket. Well, shiver me timbers, blow me down! T' finish on this rocket is somethin' I would be proud t' have on me car.
I flew this rocket on an A8-3 and it was out o' sight, arrr, me hearties, no spin or arching. Ya scallywag! I don't think I will ever fly it on anythin' above an A8-3 for I just love it t' much t' take t' chance of losin' it. Begad! Avast, me proud beauty! I also used a small 12" parachute t' insure protection o' t' finish.
If you ever find one get it, me hearties, ya bilge rat, keep it, and put a lot o' effort into buildin' and finishin' it for it will be a rocket you will be proud t' own.
Instructions and packaging, I rate would rate normal.
Looks and finish are off t' scale.
Performance and Recovery 5 out o' 5 nice soft recovery close t' pad and flights are near out o' sight
