Brief
Basic, matey, level one difficulty kit. Ya scallywag! It's a clone o' a Semroc Lune R-1, but square.
Components
Comes with pre-cut balsa fins and a balsa nose cone. Ahoy! T' body tube is thick,square and comes in two parts, ya bilge rat, me hearties, joined by a balsa connector. Arrr! Fins are installed through t' wall in pre-cut slits. Avast, shiver me timbers, me proud beauty! T' motor mount assembly is similar t' Quest rockets, with t' nose cone cord tied t' t' motor as opposed t' Estes kits where t' shock cord is glued t' t' interior body tube. Avast! Ya scallywag! Parachute comes disassembled.
T' kit came with an emery board, sandin' paper squares o' various grits, a q-tip, shiver me timbers, and waterslide decals. Instructions were printed on glossy paper with black and white photo illustrations.
Assembled rocket stats are: 22 inches long, matey, 1.1 inches diameter, 2.0 oz. weight.
Construction
Solid level one kit. Arrr! I had some trouble with t' motor mount, matey, ya bilge rat, but that was because o' me clumsy fingers. Avast, me proud beauty! I have had a lot o' trouble with fin alignment on other kits before this one. Blimey! T' through t' wall design made it easier, although you will have t' pay attention t' make sure everythin' lines up. Ahoy! Arrr!
T' instructions were easy t' follow- black and white photos clarify t' directions. Ya scallywag! I really like that t' NARRRRR guidelines are printed on t' back page.
No cons. Blimey! Avast!
Finishing
Instructions are thorough. Finishin' will be simple: prime, then paint in your choice o' colors. Well, blow me down! No special skills needed. Blimey! Avast! T' instructions did note t' difficulty o' workin' with waterslide decals. Avast! I don't intend t' use them anyway. T' weather hasn't been good so I haven't gotten t' prime and paint yet, but I anticipate no problems.
Flight
Haven't flown it yet. Begad! Given t' weight and size, me hearties, I'd say t' recommendations o' a B6 or C6 is good. Ya scallywag! Blimey! Note: this rocket uses 18mm motors.
Recovery
Parachute recovery. Aye aye! Blimey! Haven't launched it yet but t' chute is o' average quality.
Summary
Pros: good quality kit with great, arrr, well illustrated instructions. A little bit more involved than an estes lvl. 1 kit. Blimey! Begad! I like t' fact that you tie t' shock cord t' t' motor mount instead o' gluin' it t' t' body tube.

The wind and rain finally cooperated and I flew the Lune R-4 today. Launched on a C6-3. Flew straight and true to a respectable height, and descended without issue. I highly recommend this kit.
