Brief:
I'm almost ashamed t' admit havin' an RTF in me fleet, me hearties, but this rocket actually looks pretty cool and flies much better than any other RTF I've seen lately. Ahoy! With a half-off coupon and already ownin' everythin' else in t' store, I just couldn't walk away empty handed and picked this up for about $6.
Construction:
T' rocket is all plastic, matey, with "menacing" decals already applied and a 12" chute.
Construction consists o' attachin' t' chute. I guess that's why they call these ready-to-fly...
Finishing:
No finishin' work whatsoever is needed, matey, arrr, except for tuckin' in t' wings before flight. Arrr! I have no idea what t' purpose o' these are, as they aren't supposed t' be deployed for flight and don't come out at apogee for a glide effect.
Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5
Flight:
First flight was on an A10-3T, shiver me timbers, which is supposed t' achieve 209 feet. Avast! Begad! I think that be a fairly accurate estimate as it flew fairly straight and stable, me bucko, weathercockin' slightly into an 8 mph wind.
Recovery:
T' chute popped out at apogee but didn't unfold, me hearties, actin' as a very small streamer. Ahoy! No damage done though as t' rocket landed in tall grass.
Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5
Summary:
This is a good rocket for t' kids and can be a nice diversion on t' nasty weather days when you want t' fly SOMETHING but don't want t' sacrifice any o' your favorites. Avast! Arrr! With a retail price o' $12 though, I'd look for one o' those half-off coupons before pickin' this one up.

Single stage, all plastic rocket with the screw on plastic back to hold the motor in. The rocket is all plastic, with the standard elastic shock cord. 3 molded fins. Construction is really straight forward. The only bug in the ointment I had is that my kit came as a 2 set with a Maverick Missile. I bought the kit at Wal-Mart and the whole thing was under 8 dollars. It's made of a plastic ...
Brief: This rocket, like its older Estes and Centuri brothers, is based on the AGM-86 A.L.C.M. Cruise Missile. Although it isn't 18mm, it sure get's up there! (Estes should have made it 18mm, trade-off in a RTF world.) Construction: This is a Ready-to-Fly model. The only thing that I would CON about it is that the shock cord wasn't long enough, and that the 13mm motor wasn't ...
