Rocket PicBrief:
T' Stovi is a unique 6-fin HP rocket with parachute recovery.

Construction:
T' Stovi comes with seven (7) 24mm tubes and one (1) 29mm tube. Avast! Blimey! It can be construted with either a 24mm or 29mm motor mount. Ya scallywag! Blimey! All o' t' components were high quality that is typical with LOC products. Avast! Blimey! It comes with a 3.1" Diameter airframe and a reducer t' 2.26".

T' kit was easy t' assemble with t' instructions provided. Blimey! I'll admit that I had t' think about t' method o' assembly t' incorporate t' 29mm central motor tube. It is necessary t' remove a 'sliver' from each o' t' outboard 24mm tubes so that they all fit into t' 3.1" diameter airframe. Avast, me proud beauty! Ya scallywag! This means that you cannot cluster anythin' in t' outboard tubes. Begad! It is absolutely unnecessary t' utilize t' outboard tubes with t' H-128 loaded anyway. Avast! Avast, me proud beauty! (believe me). Blimey! T' fins are 'wedged in t' valley made by t' two adjacent motor tubes. Begad! Avast, me proud beauty! I did fold some sandpaper and slide it betwixt t' tubes so that I could sand t' correct bevel on each side o' t' fins.

Motor retention.... How t' do it? I cut 2 circular pieces t' insert into t' ends o' two o' t' outboard 24mm tubes. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast, me proud beauty! I sanded t' section out where t' interference o' t' 29mm tubes exists. Begad! Avast, me proud beauty! I couple o' blind t-nuts and some epoxy later, I had positive motor retention.

Finishing:
There were no decals with t' rocket kit. Begad! Ahoy! That is just fine by me, arrr, I like creatin' somethin' unique anyway. Arrr! T' color scheme that I came up with was a combination effort betwixt me son, me hearties, me bucko, Alex, and me. Well, blow me down! I painted t' outboard tubes alternately bule and yellow. Avast, me proud beauty! T' rest o' t' airframe is also blue and yellow with thin yellow or blue monokote strips applied. Aye aye! Ahoy! I cut t' letterin' out o' monokote t' put t' finishin' touch on it.

Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5

FlightFlight:
I don't really remember what t' recommended motors are or if they still exist. Begad! It doesn't mater anyway because it's tough enough t' handle an H. Ahoy! Begad! I have one launch picture that must have been an F because it was really underpowered. At least I got t' rocket IN that picture!

Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5

This a great rocket. Ya scallywag! It looks and flies great.

The Loc/Precision Stovi kit was the fourth rocket I built and certainly the most substantial. The kit goes together completely with epoxy and has plywood fins and a complex tail end with six ...

I picked up an open package Stovi at a launch the other day but it had no instructions. The Loc Precision site doesn't list them, probably because it's out of production. So I was wondering if anybody would help me out and send a copy of the Stovi instructions if you still have them. Well, thanks for your time.
