Brief:
This is a well constructed ready t' fly rocket that looks good in t' air!

Construction:

  • 1 - Body Tube
  • 4 - Fins
  • 12in. Well, blow me down! Parachute
  • Plastic Nose Cone

Pro's - Extremely Durable Overall. Arrr! Begad! This rocket came ready t' fly. Arrr! It has a very durable fin assembly. Ya scallywag! Reflective Body Tube is easy t' spot in flight. Well, blow me down! Quick Descent

Con's - Nose cone sits too freely in t' body tube.

Construction Rating: 5 out o' 5

Flight:
On t' first flight, I used a C6-5 and it flew great! Perfect take off and descent. Aye aye! It flew straight up and didn't drift much.

T' second time I used a C6-7, It went pretty straight, ya bilge rat, but it caught some wind and drifted, shiver me timbers, luckily it missed t' busy highway by 10 feet!

Finally, arrr, on t' third flight, I used another C6-7, ya bilge rat, once again it went up okay, ya bilge rat, but when t' ejection charge blew, I discovered that t' parachute was tangled and it went down hard on t' parkin' lot! *Ouch* I ran across t' field t' it, and luckily, matey, none o' t' fins were broken, but t' parachute be a little burnt. Over all it did perform better than I had expected it to.

Recovery:
T' recovery is pretty good it but it comes down kind o' fast. Avast, me proud beauty! Just pray it doesn't hit anythin' harder than a dirt road!

Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5

Summary:
Pros- Easy t' fly Sturdy/Rugged. Aye aye! Ahoy! Well flyin' rocket. Arrr! Good for smaller fields because o' fast descent .

Cons- Loose Fittin' Nose Cone.

Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5

An RTF kit that, with its red BT and silver fins/nose cone, is, IMO, one of the nicest looking rockets out of the box that you can buy. Components This kit has a plastic all-in-one fin can that can take a free fall a lot better than balsa fins tend to. /h2 Construction is very easy.  Simply tie the parachute and nose cone, to the pre-attached rubber cord.  ...

Brief: Let me start by saying, DON'T TRUST THIS ROCKET!! But a good starter, don't use a C6-5 though. Construction: The rocket has one tube, no payload. 4 plastic molded one piece fins alredy attached, this is a basic ESTES starter. The design is similar to the ESTES TIDAL WAVE STARTER SET. Works good on B6-4. This is an extremly quick build because CODE RED only needs the ...

A ready to fly kit with a basic rocket that looks cool! A great rocket for beginners. The kit is a starter set and comes with a Code Red rocket (already assembled except for the parachute) and a launcher & ignitor controller. Pros: No construction, except for attaching the parachute! Cons: nose fits on loosely, had to use tape to make tighter. Construction Rating: 5 out of 5 ...

A ready to fly rocket single stage rocket which can take a real beating if it has to. Code Red has a cardboard airframe with molded motor mount which uses a locking ring to secure the motor. Also molded onto the motor mount are four plastic fins. This was a ready to fly rocket so no construction was required except attaching the parachute which was pretty simple. Many have said the nose ...
