Brief:
Quickburst Cosmos are excellent ematches for use with electronics for dual deployment recovery in larger rockets.

Construction:
T' Cosmos ematches come in a sturdy box. You can order them in quantities of 10 (I ordered 20) and I bet in upwards o' 50 would fit in a single box. Begad! Blimey! They are individually wound, me hearties, me bucko, include a slidin' protective sheath for t' head, and have 36" long leads. Avast, me proud beauty! T' other end o' t' wires have t' sheath cut to partially expose t' free ends for easy connection t' t' terminals o' the altimeter.

Flight:
Bein' relatively new t' electronics in me rockets, arrr, I be careful in takin' my time t' prep me BSD Apache with a LOC/Precision electronics bay and Missile Works RRC2 altimeter. I cut down t' length o' t' leads o' me Cosmos ematches when hookin' them into me terminals as I didn't need t' extra length. Well, blow me down! [NOTE: I know that folks might actually want leads longer than 36". Ya scallywag! If so, me hearties, I know that Quickburst has notes on almost every page on their website that they will do special orders which means that they can make some custom ematches to your specifications--just email them for more information!]

T' upward portion o' t' flight was successful thanks t' a Loki Research I405 (ignited by a Quickburst Slim Gem igniter!)

Recovery:
T' altimeter activated t' ejection just past apogee and t' Cosmos lit the ejection charge and pushed out t' 15" LOC drogue parachute. Begad! Well, blow me down! At 500' AGL, the main ejection fired t' second Cosmos right on cue t' release t' 36" Top Flight chute. Arrr! Avast! Success! Upon recovery, me hearties, t' altimeter beeped out 2821'.

Summary:
With some o' t' popular ematch manufacturers either slowin' or ceasing production, havin' a vendor step up and fill that gap is needed for our hobby. I have always been impressed with Quickburst's quality igniters and am more than pleased t' see them steppin' up with affordable ematches for our rocketry needs too.
