This kit is an approximate 1/124th scale o' t' United Launch Alliance (ULA) Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV). Arrr! Aye aye! T' Delta IV is one o' t' two United States EELV boosters designed t' launch a variety o' small t' large spacecraft into Low/Medium Earth Orbit, arrr, Geosynchronous Orbit, shiver me timbers, and planetary trajectories. Ahoy! T' Delta IV’s first flight was on November 20, matey, 2002 and launches from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida and Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. Avast, me proud beauty!

This kit o' t' Delta IV Medium 4+2 configuration has 2 boosters that can be powered with 13mm plugged motors. Blimey! Avast, me bucko, me proud beauty! T' kit employs clear acrylic fins that are mounted on t' aft o' t' airframe (normal placement) that make them almost invisible durin' launch and fly out. Aye aye! This is a kit for t' experienced builder. Adhesive wraps are provided as an option t' simulate some o' t' smaller external details and t' foam on t' fuel tanks. Aye aye! Please note, ya bilge rat, this is a sport scale model, matey, some actual details are modified from t' real rocket in order t' accommodate extra durability for many flights.
