Make Scale Lines on Missiles

I came up with this after playin' around with some ideas on how t' make scale lines on missiles. Paint can be tough t' mask and Monocoat isn't exactly dirt cheap. So I tried Scotch vinyl electric tape. Begad!

This comes in many different colors and is normally 3/4in wide. T' colors used were brown and blue for our PML Amraam 4. Begad! I had no problems gettin' it on. Aye aye!

Taped

LaunchEven though it sticks well I wasn't sure how it would hold up in flight without a clear coat. We decided t' give it a go and flew t' Amraam on an I211. Blimey! After t' flight inspection thar was no peelin' or anything.

It's very easy t' apply, ya bilge rat, inexpensive, and looks great. Ahoy! It's even paintable. Aye aye! I've used this tape for decals on a couple rockets with no problems at all. Begad!
