Custom mod of ACME Spitfire for Break-away action. Fun build! Each section of the rocket "Breaks Apart" and is attached to a Kevlar line. I've also made it so that the launch rod fits right through the middle of the rocket rather than outside launch lugs/standoffs.
3/20/15 - Added Chenille Stem Wile E. Coyote as a finishing touch. Not bad for my first try at "pipe cleaner art" if I say so myself! :)

Added Will E. Coyote to body of rocket!
Another good flight! Rocket seemed to veer away from the wind a bit off the rod. At apogee, it didn't separate completely (C11s seem to not have enough "oomph"...will try D12-3s once I get more); however top 2 sections and bottom did separate and top black streamer came out (second streamer didn't). Came down in a mess of black streamer and rocket body parts, which was actually what I was aiming for! =D No damage, so another successful flight.
Flight grounds are now too wet for further launches, so I'll have to wait until my club range opens. Looking forward to flying this again!
