However I did fire a ridiculous amount o' small bottle rockets when I was younger (I would hope that counts somewhat! :) I've loved buildin' things growin' up...static model kits were t' norm and I got into RC models as I got older. I also love wordworkin' and any type o' craft which involves makin' stuff. Rocketry seems t' be t' perfect fit for me! I LOVE t' multi-media nature as well as t' point that t' rocket doesn't have t' have a perfect paint job t' look good (especially good if your eyesight gets worse as you age). Begad! Great bonus is that these rockets aren't static and can be blasted off into t' great blue yonder and (hopefully) return safely for another go. Well, blow me down! I'm t' creative type and I love t' diversity o' kits out there...this hobby is screamin' for me t' go crazy with silly (but safe) designs. I've just started rocketry in 2014, shiver me timbers, but wow, I've learned a lot!

2025-02-10Estes - Star Wars Naboo Royal Starship  Flight Great flight! C5-3 is perfect for this rocket. Rode straight up with a slight rotation. Ejection shortly after a bit o' coast at apogee. Estes Cosmic Cobra  Flight Beautiful and fun flight! I added a bit o' clay t' t' nose so that it's more likely t' point down when spinning.
