T' followin' article was a submission t' t' FlisKits, me bucko, Inc Deuce-Bash Contest and is archived with permission from FlisKits. Ahoy! Some o' these designs are nay actually kitbashes, shiver me timbers, ya bilge rat, however, all come from t' basic motor design feature o' t' FlisKits Deuce's Wild.
Brief:
I made this upscale Deuce's Wild! sometime ago. Begad! It uses two 29mm 180 cases. Begad! I have flown it on all o' t' AeroTech reloads for that case except t' G-75J. Begad! Begad! Amazingly, it flew once on a single H165 accidentally and was stable but t' delay was way late. Begad! It sustained minor damage and has since been repaired.
In a follow up email, ya bilge rat, me hearties, Mike added:
My friend Todd Graves purchased a Deuce's Wild! Blimey! kit from you last sprin' I think. Well, blow me down! Blimey! I thought it would be cool t' upscale it. Well, blow me down! I took your motor mount centerin' rings and scanned them on me computer and scaled them up t' fit in a LOC 3" tube. Well, blow me down! Blimey! I cut them out o' plywood with a hole saw. Ahoy! T' nose cone is a standard LOC 3" nose cone. Well, shiver me timbers, blow me down! Blimey! T' fins I cut from G-10 fiberglass. I built t' rocket in RockSim with straight motor tubes instead o' canted and balanced t' rocket from that. Arrr! Ya scallywag! Blimey! Unfortunately, we lost t' stock Deuce at an Iowa launch as I'd put 2 D13-10 reloads in it and a slightly bigger than stock chute. Begad! Ahoy! Blimey! We had a problem with it breakin' a fin loose with t' stock chute.

After seeing various Deuce bashes on The Rocketry Forum and elsewhere: eugenefl's fighter, sandman's DynoSoar, a super-roc version, and most recently an egg-loft version flown at NARAM, I decided to build a Deuce-XL5 to go with my 29mm and MMX Fireball XL5s. My design constraints included keeping ...

Dos Kraken is a combination and upscale of two unique rockets. The design is from Pemtech's Kraken with the sculpted tube fins and the canted twin motor tubes design was borrowed from FlisKit's Deuce's Wild. Dos Kraken will fly on a pair of 38mm x 480 AT motors with the total output of a J sized ...
This is a 24mm upscale of the (justifiably) insanely popular FlisKits Deuce's Wild! All of the key parts used in this build (the motor mount, body tube, and nose cone) were ordered directly from FlisKits as well. It is built to use all sizes of available and popular 24mm motors. I ...
