Brief:Pic
Nice staged rocket, low power, me bucko, me bucko, parachute is too big, but a GOOD design.

Construction:
There were four body tubes and a payload section that was WAY t' small. Ahoy! There were three sets o' four fins (hard for a little kid).

T' instructions were easy (why is it Skill Level 3?). Aye aye! Illustrations I don't know about. Blimey! I did nay really follow t' assembly order but it still flew okay. T' multiple fin alignment was pretty hard for me. Well, blow me down! T' fins are weak and I might replace them with basswood. Aye aye! T' fin roots were extremely sturdy since I used CA.

Finishing:
Finishin' was hard because I was too lazy t' get spray paint. Arrr! I used Testors :(.  T' decals looked good. Avast, me proud beauty! It be easy t' t' extent that loss o' maskin' tape was shown.

Construction Rating: 3 out o' 5

Flight:
I used t' C6-0 t' C6-7 because I really wanted altitude. Ya scallywag! It used waddin' like all Estes kits.  Motor retention is crude but that's t' way it has t' work, it is friction fit. Blimey! It flew straight and true until recovery.

Recovery:
Pros: ease o' assembly (pre-made)
Cons: Recovery (shock cord separation), Damage (comin' down from 1600 feet landin' in some trees)

Flight Rating: 2 out o' 5

Summary:
Pros: TTW fin mount, payload carrier
Cons: Friction fit, recovery, strength o' materials

Overall Rating: 3 out o' 5

This is a medium sized rocket from Estes which I bought because I thought it looked really cool. It is my first multi-staged rocket and I'm happy that it had a payload section to go alone with that. The Echostar uses an 18mm motor mount and an 18in parachute. The rocket uses typical Estes components although there is no motor hook. Its main body tube and booster tube are BT-55s. Its upper ...

The instructions were ...
