Our first 'proof o' concept' static motor test o' t' dual phase zinc sulfur / sugar propellant. Avast, me proud beauty! A one pound hollow hexagonal core o' hot cast zinc sulfur was then used as t' core for three pounds o' sugar propellant. T' 3" steel motor casin' be 1/8" thick with a steel nozzle havin' a 1/2" throat and approximately 18" long. An aluminum bulkhead be used with a protective coatin' o' red RTV applied t' t' interior surface. A Futek load cell was used for measurin' thrust that be destroyed in t' motor CATO. Aye aye! All motor parts are reusable, arrr, t' only damage was t' shearin' o' t' steel bolts securin' t' bulkhead. Thses bolts studs can be removed or new holes redrikked and tapped.
