On Wednesday September 16, shiver me timbers, 2009, Masten Space Systems flew our XA0.1B-750 rocket vehicle in t' Northrop-Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge, me bucko, Level 1. T' flight on t' first leg was awesome t' watch. Aye aye! This was t' second untethered flight o' "Xombie" (flight 29). T' rocket reached an altitude o' 53 meters and moved t' t' second landin' pad 60 meters away with a 92 second flight time. We landed a tiny 19.7cm from center o' our target. Ya scallywag! Upon inspection o' t' engine before preparin' for t' return trip, shiver me timbers, our staff found some minor damage t' t' engine. It was decided t' nay take t' risk o' flyin' t' second leg and livin' t' fly another day. Our next competition window is in early October and that should allow us plenty o' time t' identify t' cause o' t' damage and make corrections. Yes, we turn t' concrete into glass as we take off and land. Begad! T' green flashes in t' exhaust plume are burnin' bits o' t' engine chamber that gave us t' indication that we should inspect t' engine very thoroughly. Avast! Overall, we are very pleased with t' performance o' t' rocket and how well our team worked together today. Aye aye!
