This is a recovery system ground test o' me newly completed X-celerator rocket. It's a dual deployment setup which ejects a small drogue chute with t' forward section at apogee. Ya scallywag! A larger parachute is ejected as t' rocket descends through 500 feet. Ahoy! I calculated 1.5 grams o' black powder was necessary t' cut t' 3 sheer pins and eject t' nose cone and main parachute. Avast, me proud beauty! This proved t' be perfect. Ahoy! I wraped t' nosecone in bubble wrap t' protect t' new paint. Blimey! There are two altimeters (for redundancy) controllin' 4 black powder charges. Ahoy! This test was for t' Perfectflite MiniAlt WD. T' other altimeter is a Raven 2.
