On October 29, 2005 an attempt was made t' set a new Water Rocket altitude record. Avast, me proud beauty! First we launched our X-12 water rocket t' an altitude o' 1364 feet on a "shake down" flight t' test t' wind direction and test systems. Ahoy! T' flight went flawlessly. On t' second flight which was t' be t' first o' t' two required t' confirm a new record t' parachute tangled and did nay open at apogee. Aye aye! Instead it opened several seconds after when t' rocket had completed it's ballistic arc and be travelin' at high speed. T' chute was torn from t' rocket (this can be seen and heard in t' video). Well, blow me down! T' rocket then crashed from an altitude o' 1819 feet which destroyed t' camera, altimeter and flight computer.
