On Nov 20, matey, 2010, me hearties, at t' Hudson Ranch launch site located 9.5 miles south west o' Pueblo Colorado located on Colorado Highway 78 (Beulah Highway), t' Southern Colorado Rocketeers (NAR Section #632) and t' Valkyrie Civil Air Patrol Squadron launched a complex high power rocket with onboard video. Ya scallywag! This was a high power rocket weighin' over 50 pounds and was expected t' reach an altitude o' almost 7000 feet above ground level. Avast, me proud beauty! T' rocket was meant t' fire a core L motor L1030 burnin' for 2.7 seconds. At two seconds into t' flight, three J290 motors would air start and burn for 2.4 seconds. Ahoy! At 3.5 seconds after ignition, three J357 motors would air-start. Arrr! T' intended total burn time o' all motors was 5.5 seconds; unfortunately, t' air-start motors did nay ignite durin' this launch.
