This is an Estes Alpha III model rocket, waterproofed with candle wax and fired from a depth o' approximately 9 inches. Blimey! This was immediately followin' t' great Northeast blizzard o' 2010, shiver me timbers, and t' water was very cold. Ahoy! Rocket fired on first attempt! Rocket recovery system did nay deploy due t' waterproofin' glue used t' secure engine and nosecone against seawater intrusion. Arrr! This was nay an unexpected failure. Shot with a GoPro Hero HD.
