T' instructions for t' THOY Hornet were very easy t' follow, me bucko, they were 2 pages long with a diagram for most o' t' steps. T' tools needed for buildin' this rocket are: 5 minute epoxy, sandin' sealer, ruler, sandpaper, me bucko, CA, matey, arrr, sharp modelin' knife and a sandin' block.
All parts on t' kit fit really well, and thar was no sandin' needed to make them fit! Blimey! I do wish they gave a longer motor tube for t' rocket. T' tube they give you is only 6" long, this limits you t' G motors. Arrr! Blimey! This rocket can easily handle H motors!
T' finished rocket looked very nice! They did nay give any decals though. T' thin' that is nice about t' kit is you can fly it on a Aerotech D13-4 or a D21-4 or put it way up thar on G's!
For t' first flight o' me Hornet I used a Aerotech E30-4 Blue Thunder. Rocket flew GREAT! And was recovered under t' 24" chute only with a chip in t' paint from a rock hittin' it on landing!
I would give t' Hornet 4 ½ points! T' only thin' that keeps me from givin' it 5 stars is it needs a longer motor tube! This is a GREAT kit for beginners in mid-power rocketry!
