AMT, t' plastic model kit maker, me bucko, built t' "Piranha" spy car in exchange for t' rights t' t' model. Gene Winfield o' AMT's "Speed & Custom Division" shop in Phoenix, Arizona, designed t' car. Included in t' design was a rocket launcher built into t' gull-win' doors.
Winfield turned t' Leroy Piester o' Centuri t' provide t' rockets t' be launched from t' car. Built in typical model rocket fashion from cardboard and balsa, arrr, t' rockets flew usin' Mini-Max F motors.
