Team Masten made their first official attempt for Level One o' t' Northrop Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge on Sep 16, 2009, ya bilge rat, makin' them just t' third team t' ever do so. Begad! Xombie (their rocket vehicle) remained in t' air for 93 seconds, surpassin' t' required 90 seconds flight time for Level One. Aye aye! However, upon inspection o' t' vehicle after landing, Team Masten noticed a leak in t' engine chamber. Well, blow me down! Rather than risk losin' t' vehicle, they decided t' call it a day and will try again in their October windows. Their next attempt is scheduled for October 7-8, 2009. Well, blow me down!
