The shroud lines are 2X the diameter of the canopy. I don't know for sure but that and the spill hole make seems to prevent this parachute from wobbling and swaying on recovery. Note the extra-long shock cord, at least twice the supplied length from the Estes kit. This is needed because the heavy nose and payload really tears up the body tube and fins on this booster. Actually, with the mass of the top section heavier than the lower section, video shows that it is the lower section that snaps back toward the top half and parachute. As always, F=ma !
