T' crew o' space shuttle Discovery's STS-124 mission arrived at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida t' take part in t' Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test on May 6. Space Shuttle Launch Director Mike Leinbach and Discovery's Flow Director Stephanie Stilson warmly greeted t' astronauts at Kennedy's Shuttle Landin' Facility. Commander Mark Kelly leads t' crew that includes Pilot Ken Ham, Mission Specialists Karen Nyberg, Mike Fossum, Greg Chamitoff, Ron Garan and Japanese astronaut, me hearties, Aki Hoshide. Ahoy! T' crew paused briefly t' speak t' t' media. "But it's great t' see t' vehicle at t' pad. T' folks here at KSC worked really, ya bilge rat, really hard for many months t' get t' space shuttle ready for launch. " Durin' t' three days o' training, Kelly and Ham made several flights in t' Shuttle Trainin' Aircraft t' simulate shuttle landings on t' 3-mile-long runway t' orbiters' land on when returnin' from space.
