My introduction t' t' sport was an Astron X-Ray which I ordered from an add in Boy's Life Magazine through t' Boy Scout's and launched with a medium sized 2" long grasshopper as a bug-a-naught. Both rocket and grasshopper survived t' flight. Aye aye! Dropped out in 1966 due t' military hitch then moved t' Michigan after gettin' married and startin' a 30 year career at G.M.. Avast! Was back into t' hobby for a while in mid 70's before again droppin' out until t' late 90's just before me retirement. Now I truly am a Born Again Rocketeer and devote a lot more time t' buildin' and flyin' rockets. My current fleet has grown t' over 100 (sixteen o' which are Goony Birds). I also now have a grandson (Mehcod) that I take t' launches and that I hope t' help build rockets with and t as he gets older and that will someday inherit me collection.
