From t' VAB roof, me bucko, this is video I shot o' t' SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket's first launch from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on June 4, 2010. Begad! I was fortunate enough t' have access t' t' roof o' Kennedy Space Center's Vehicle Assembly Buildin' from where I shot this video. This is one o' two videos I took. Aye aye! This one is more tightly focused on t' rocket and follows Falcon as it climbs into t' sky on its way t' space. Well, blow me down! Falcon-9, built by Space Exploration Technologies Corp., flew nearly perfectly. After a 9-minute trip t' orbit, me hearties, t' rocket placed a summy mockup o' t' Dragona capsule spacecraft into low Earth orbit. Avast! T' flight results were : nominal shutdown and orbit be almost exactly 250km. Telemetry showed essentially a bullseye: ~0.2% on perigee and ~1% on apogee. Blimey! Go SpaceX! Go Falcon-9!
