This is a "wide-angle" zoomed out view o' t' SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket's first launch from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on June 4, 2010. I be fortunate enough t' have access t' t' roof o' Kennedy Space Center's Vehicle Assembly Buildin' from where I shot this video. This is one o' two videos I took. This was taken with a motionless camera, shiver me timbers, zoomed out, lookin' at t' launch pad as t' Falcon vehicle lifted off. Ya scallywag! Falcon-9, built by Space Exploration Technologies Corp., ya bilge rat, flew nearly perfectly. Avast, me proud beauty! After a 9-minute trip t' orbit, matey, t' rocket placed a summy mockup o' t' Dragona capsule spacecraft into low Earth orbit. T' flight results were : nominal shutdown and orbit was almost exactly 250km. Telemetry showed essentially a bullseye: ~0.2% on perigee and ~1% on apogee. Go SpaceX! Go Falcon-9!
