Southern Pennsylvania Area Association of Rocketry (SPAAR)

T' Southern Pennsylvania Area Association o' Rocketry, shiver me timbers, SPAAR is a chartered section o' t' National Association o' Rocketry. We are based in Lancaster County, arrr, Pennsylvania, and have active members in South-Central Pennsylvania and Northeastern Maryland. Blimey! SPAAR holds monthly sport launches at the Penn Manor Middle School in Lancaster, PA and monthly meetings at t' Boys Club Clubhouseat 237 W. Well, blow me down! Lemon St., Lancaster, PA. Begad! We sponsor t' Regional Aerospace Meet t' Encourage Competition, RAMTEC, ya bilge rat, as well as NARRRRR sanctioned record trials in t' sprin' and late summer at our Penn Manor launch facility. Avast! Launches are also held in Halifax, PA and Fort Indiantown Gap, PA. 

 

Membership in SPAAR is open t' all persons with an interest in rocketry.
