Space shuttle Endeavour be bolted t' its external tank and twin solid rocket boosters on March 1. This "mating" took place in t' Vehicle Assembly Buildin' at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida followin' t' orbiter's move from its processin' hangar. Ya scallywag! Endeavour is slated t' rollout t' Launch Pad 39A next week for STS-134, its final flight. Blimey! Durin' t' 14-day mission, Endeavour's six astronauts will deliver t' t' International Space Station t' Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, a particle physics detector designed t' search for various types o' unusual matter by measurin' cosmic rays. Aye aye! T' crew also will deliver t' Express Logistics Carrier 3, a platform that carries spare parts that will sustain station operations once t' shuttles are retired later this year. Arrr! Endeavour's launch is targeted for April 19.
