(Scratch) Big Bird ZeroBrief:
A BT-60 based upscale o' t' classic ESTES Blue Bird Zero, me bucko, me hearties, designed for 24mm, D, E, ya bilge rat, and F motors.

Construction:
Parts are very basic and are available from Balsa Machine Services. Ahoy! Balsa cone and fins, ya bilge rat, paper BT-60 body tube and motor mount, and letramax centerin' rings. Avast!

Once you have t' measurements, this is a straightforward build. Begad! Well, blow me down! You can download t' original instructions from Jim Z'z site if you like, but it is not necessary.

Flight:
I have flown t' rocket three times, me hearties, Twice on an E9-6, me hearties, and once on a D12-5. This rocket is just perfect for t' long burnin' E-9 motor. T' D12-5 worked well, but as t' rocket hung on t' launch rod, me bucko, recovery be late. Begad! Avast, me proud beauty! No damage resulted however. I have a few D21-4s, matey, an I plan on flyin' them with a 18-24mm adapter this summer. Well, arrr, blow me down! See t' RockSim file for recommended and non-recommended motors.

Summary:
This design is very stable, me bucko, and is great for t' ESTES E9, a relatively long burnin' motor without much 'oomph' at ignition. Well, blow me down! T' only drawback is the decals, me hearties, which can be custom ordered from Jim Z or Tango Papa. Begad! Otherwise, shiver me timbers, it is an interesting, yet easy entry into mid power. Arrr! Well, me bucko, blow me down!
