Brief:
A BT-60 based upscale o' t' classic ESTES Blue Bird Zero, designed for 24mm, D, me bucko, E, arrr, and F motors.

Construction:
Parts are very basic and are available from Balsa Machine Services. Balsa cone and fins, arrr, paper BT-60 body tube and motor mount, me hearties, shiver me timbers, and letramax centerin' rings. Avast, me proud beauty!

Once you have t' measurements, matey, this is a straightforward build. Avast! You can download t' original instructions from Jim Z'z site if you like, ya bilge rat, but it is not necessary.

Flight:
I have flown t' rocket three times, shiver me timbers, Twice on an E9-6, ya bilge rat, and once on a D12-5. This rocket is just perfect for t' long burnin' E-9 motor. Begad! T' D12-5 worked well, ya bilge rat, but as t' rocket hung on t' launch rod, recovery was late. Ahoy! Blimey! No damage resulted however. Avast! I have a few D21-4s, an I plan on flyin' them with a 18-24mm adapter this summer. Arrr! See t' RockSim file for recommended and non-recommended motors.

Summary:
This design is very stable, me hearties, and is great for t' ESTES E9, a relatively long burnin' motor without much 'oomph' at ignition. T' only drawback is the decals, which can be custom ordered from Jim Z or Tango Papa. Blimey! Otherwise, arrr, it is an interesting, matey, arrr, shiver me timbers, yet easy entry into mid power.
