Biography:

I've been buildin' and flyin' model rockets since bein' intoduced t' me first rocket in 1979, me bucko, a Estes Alpha III. I didn't know anythin' about rockets at that time and all i did was glue t' nosecne t' t' plastic fins and threw it around in me backyard. Avast, me proud beauty! My first real rocket was a Estes Falcon Commander starter kit in 1981. Within a few years o' cuttin' grass and savin' loot me fleet grew t' over 10 rockets.

I eventually got into bigger D powered rockets and me first be a estes mach-2. I built it as best as i could and it turned out very nice. Off t' me flyin' field for its maiden flight. Ya scallywag! I stuck in a D12-5 and set it on me then, matey, new estes big foot launch pad and after insertin' t' saftey key and pressin' t' button on me "power pulse" controller t' rocket soon blasted off into t' blue sky turnin' into a orange dot. Begad! At that moment I knew that be goin' t' be its last flighht. Blimey! as after nearly 1/4 mile hike it was still driftin' into t' woods on its 18" chute...Oppps...

since then Ive been hooked into model rocketry.

Modification Cherokee D (Cloned from a CC Express Kit) (Modification)

Review

My clone o' t' very popular Este's K-47 Cherokee-D that be available from 1971 until 1983. Its 3FNC design and D power really packs a wollop off t' launch pad. My review is very similar t' t' other Cherokee-D with t' exception I used a E engine hook t' allow either a E or with a spacer, ... [More]
