Building for a NAR L1. Good Kit and goes together easy but did have warped fins out of the box. I used angle and clamps to keep them straight till the glue dried. All tubes fit together just right.

Looks like I’ll fly this one with a J500 for my L2 also this Spring. Update, I passed my written L2 test without any problems, and flew it on a Aerotech J500G, great choice for my L2 in this Rocket.
I got a K185W, it has a 8 sec burn and should put this into the Mile high club.
UPDATE: Flew this in Orangeburg to 6700'

Flown wtih one of Aerotech's new I327 Dark Matter. Below is the summery from the Raven 3 altimeter. Very loud and a real show stopper, Lots of black smoke and sparks, it looks like it's coming apart. Still got a altitude of over 2500ft. Wind was light and came back over the parking area a couple of times and ended up landing 50 ft from my truck on the runway, no cars hit but the pucker factor was high till it was on the ground.
Also did my writen test for my NAR level 2 this weekend and missed 1, so the hard part is over, next fight will be with a Aerotech J500, Sims at 3700 ft. should be quite the flight!
