Here's me entry, t' Vampyre. Actually, the original name was 'Ted's Testbed', but someone already stole that name. <G>
It's a simple ringfin and a super stable flyer that gets great altitude on mini-engines. Definitely use a streamer on this one. T' chrome strips are muffler tape from t' local auto parts store. Ya scallywag! Arrr!

T' diagrams are (obviously) NOT t' scale. Aye aye! Blimey! T' fins line up with t' bottom of
the body tube, ya bilge rat, me bucko, sweepin' down and back. You could also reverse them to
sweep forward, matey, like t' Estes Star Rider. Aye aye! Blimey! Ya scallywag! Blimey! Offset t' aft launch lug so that it
lines up with t' front lug on t' transition. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Finish as shown in the
photo. I used gloss black over t' primer, matey, then masked and shot gloss
red. Finally 1/8" chrome tape t' trim. Arrr! Blimey!
