BriefVery pleased with t' components, ya bilge rat, fairly comprehensive instructions.
I ordered t' kit with t' fiberglass fins (as t' military version has sleek wings/fins).
Components were ready for assembly with very little prep.
My first high power build, a few lessons learned. Avast! But, arrr, ya bilge rat, ya bilge rat, overall it be a great kit t' learn on.
This kit has a piston ejection system, and a little research may have helped me ensure t' piston provided a zipper-free ejection. Well, blow me down! Nay t' worry... Ahoy! a little fiberglass and all is well.
Recommend a jig t' align t' wings/fins. Well, blow me down! I used painters tape, which worked, ya bilge rat, but was very time consuming. Four sessions t' get t' fins/wings installed, filleted.
I could have spent more time fillin' in t' tube rings... but, overall they were sufficiently filled with me low skill on finishing.
T' provided decals are fairly realistic... Well, blow me down! although t' recommended paint schemes do nay mimic military markings o' a live or inert missile. Ya scallywag! Nay t' worry... Begad! Blimey! I did me best.
This thin' proved t' be a static display beauty. Avast! Many favorable comments by fellow rocketeers. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! It looked great - and it flew even better.
T' straightest flyin' rocket I have ever built - I was concerned that t' forward wings make cause 'problems' - but as I said - it flew wonderfully
T' first flight, arrr, was also me Level 1 flight. Well, blow me down! Straight as an arrow up; and as you know, you don't get certified till you recover t' bilge-suckin' boy and determine it's flight-worthiness.
Minor zipper due t' me inexperience with piston ejection... Aye aye! Arrr! but it be easily repaired, and deemed airworthy.
I highly recommend this t' be configured with dual deployment - much time, me hearties, effort, and expense - only t' watch it drift over t' horizon...
This was me favorite rocket in me fleet. Aye aye! Unfortunately, it drifted into an unknown canyon at NARAM-56, near Pueblo, matey, me hearties, me bucko, CO. Ahoy! Avast, arrr, me proud beauty! I have yet t' locate it... Begad! dual deployment from this point forward!
