Brief:
T' Bull Puppy 2.1 is a single stage, me hearties, Quantum tube rocket with piston ejection.

Construction:
Kit comes with a pre-slotted main airframe, arrr, a pre-slotted boat tail and a plastic nosecone. Well, blow me down! Avast! It has 4 fiberglass canard fins, and 4 fiberglass main fins. T' piston ejection kit comes with a piston body, matey, piston strap, shiver me timbers, me bucko, slotted bulk plate and metal "D" ring. Ahoy! Ahoy! Other items include a nylon chute, shiver me timbers, 29mm motor mount tube, arrr, matey, notched centerin' ring, nylon shock cord, 1/4 inch launch lug, arrr, alignment ring, matey, ya bilge rat, decal sheet and instruction sheet.

T' instructions are very easy t' follow with lots o' illustrations. Begad! I used the instructions assembly order, and everythin' went smoothly. There isn't any templates for t' fins, but one can be made easily. Ahoy! Before I epoxied t' canard fins t' t' main body tube, matey, I used a door frame t' make an alignment mark at the bottom o' t' tube for when I installed t' boat tail, me hearties, me bucko, me bucko, which houses the main fins. T' fins need t' be sanded with 220 grit sandpaper t' scuff them for paintin' and t' round t' edges. Arrr! Minor sandin' had t' done t' t' centering rin' and nose cone, but everythin' else fit perfect, me bucko, includin' t' piston. Begad! Ya scallywag! I used Ace Hardware's 5 minute epoxy first t' adhere parts, arrr, and then used t' 90 minute for additional strength and fillets.

Finishing:
As with any Quantum tube rocket, t' tubes have t' be sanded lightly with 320-400 sandpaper. Avast, me proud beauty! Ya scallywag! I used an electric pad sander on t' nose cone t' remove the lines. I held t' sander upside down betwixt me knees, and held t' nosecone lightly by both ends on t' sandin' pad. It spins slowly and gives a nice finish. Blimey! Blimey! Paintin' was done by usin' and Ace Hardware brand o' gray primer, me bucko, and Rustoleum gloss white. T' rocket has a number o' decals. Ahoy! T' instructions easily show t' placement. When completed this rocket is VERY sturdy and looks impressive.

Construction Rating: 5 out o' 5

Flight:
T' Bull Puppy 2.1 will fly on anythin' from an F-20 t' an H-70. Avast, me proud beauty! This small rocket can be used for a Level 1 Cert ! I flew it on an G-80-7. Blimey! Since it uses a piston ejection system, no waddin' is needed. Ahoy! How easy can it get? Just install the piston and straps, matey, folded chute and install t' nosecone. Done. Ahoy! Begad! On t' G-80 I wrapped t' aft o' t' motor with 3/4 inch maskin' tape t' build it up about 3/16", me bucko, and then put vertical tape strips on t' motor until it fit snug in the motor tube. Avast! Aye aye! T' launch was absolutely straight and fast. Aye aye! Aye aye! It went about as high as a person with hawk deadlights can see. Avast, me proud beauty! Ejection was at apogee. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! T' piston ejection system worked perfect.

Recovery:
T' piston strap and shock cords are standard PML nylon. Assembly is simple. T' rocket comes with an 18 inch nylon chute, shiver me timbers, arrr, and it drops a little faster than you may want, me bucko, but t' rocket is very durable and you don't have t' chase it down too far. No damage was done t' t' rocket. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey!

Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5

Summary:
For someone new t' HPR, or even t' experienced modeler, me hearties, this is a great rocket. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! It's small, matey, ya bilge rat, sturdy, doesn't take a lot o' talent, me bucko, material or time to build, and just looks great. Avast, me proud beauty! Begad! I can't think o' any cons.
