Brief:
T' Bull Puppy 2.1 is a single stage, Quantum tube rocket with piston ejection.

Construction:
Kit comes with a pre-slotted main airframe, me bucko, a pre-slotted boat tail and a plastic nosecone. Begad! It has 4 fiberglass canard fins, and 4 fiberglass main fins. T' piston ejection kit comes with a piston body, piston strap, slotted bulk plate and metal "D" ring. Well, blow me down! Other items include a nylon chute, me bucko, 29mm motor mount tube, notched centerin' ring, nylon shock cord, ya bilge rat, 1/4 inch launch lug, alignment ring, me hearties, decal sheet and instruction sheet.

T' instructions are very easy t' follow with lots o' illustrations. Well, blow me down! I used the instructions assembly order, ya bilge rat, and everythin' went smoothly. There isn't any templates for t' fins, shiver me timbers, but one can be made easily. Well, blow me down! Before I epoxied t' canard fins t' t' main body tube, I used a door frame t' make an alignment mark at the bottom o' t' tube for when I installed t' boat tail, which houses the main fins. Begad! T' fins need t' be sanded with 220 grit sandpaper t' scuff them for paintin' and t' round t' edges. Aye aye! Ahoy! Minor sandin' had t' done t' t' centering rin' and nose cone, ya bilge rat, but everythin' else fit perfect, matey, includin' t' piston. Begad! I used Ace Hardware's 5 minute epoxy first t' adhere parts, ya bilge rat, and then used t' 90 minute for additional strength and fillets.

Finishing:
As with any Quantum tube rocket, t' tubes have t' be sanded lightly with 320-400 sandpaper. I used an electric pad sander on t' nose cone t' remove the lines. Blimey! I held t' sander upside down betwixt me knees, ya bilge rat, ya bilge rat, and held t' nosecone lightly by both ends on t' sandin' pad. It spins slowly and gives a nice finish. Begad! Paintin' was done by usin' and Ace Hardware brand o' gray primer, me hearties, and Rustoleum gloss white. Avast, me proud beauty! T' rocket has a number o' decals. Ya scallywag! Ya scallywag! T' instructions easily show t' placement. Blimey! When completed this rocket is VERY sturdy and looks impressive.

Construction Rating: 5 out o' 5

Flight:
T' Bull Puppy 2.1 will fly on anythin' from an F-20 t' an H-70. Begad! This small rocket can be used for a Level 1 Cert ! I flew it on an G-80-7. Since it uses a piston ejection system, no waddin' is needed. Ahoy! How easy can it get? Just install the piston and straps, folded chute and install t' nosecone. Begad! Done. Avast, me proud beauty! Arrr! On t' G-80 I wrapped t' aft o' t' motor with 3/4 inch maskin' tape t' build it up about 3/16", and then put vertical tape strips on t' motor until it fit snug in the motor tube. Ya scallywag! T' launch be absolutely straight and fast. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! It went about as high as a person with hawk deadlights can see. Arrr! Ejection was at apogee. Aye aye! Arrr! T' piston ejection system worked perfect.

Recovery:
T' piston strap and shock cords are standard PML nylon. Ahoy! Arrr! Assembly is simple. T' rocket comes with an 18 inch nylon chute, shiver me timbers, shiver me timbers, and it drops a little faster than you may want, but t' rocket is very durable and you don't have t' chase it down too far. Blimey! No damage be done t' t' rocket.

Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5

Summary:
For someone new t' HPR, or even t' experienced modeler, matey, ya bilge rat, this is a great rocket. It's small, matey, ya bilge rat, sturdy, doesn't take a lot o' talent, ya bilge rat, me bucko, material or time to build, me bucko, and just looks great. Aye aye! I can't think o' any cons.

Overall Rating: 5 out o' 5
