Brief:
A Modified Mini Marz Lander with a lengthened motor tube t' accept Apogee's C6, shiver me timbers, ya bilge rat, 13mm x 83mm, me bucko, motor.

Modifications:
Parts needed are (1) 13mm Airframe Tube 3.25", arrr, (1) 13mm x 18mm x 0.25" centerin' ring, me bucko, matey, (1) 13mm x 0.25" Engine block.

T' first thin' I did was t' enlarge t' holes on either end o' t' lower section usin' 220 grit sandpaper rolled inside out on me hobby knife. This also removed t' part o' t' cardboard tube that be glued in. I enlarged t' hole till t' new motor tube slid in with only a little resistance.

Next I glued t' motor block in, I left about 1mm stickin' out o' t' top o' t' tube because I wanted a little wiggle room in case one o' t' motors was a little long. Blimey! Begad! After a light sandin' on t' bottom o' t' tube, arrr, I put a small bead o' carpenter's glue around t' tube about 1/16" from t' end and slid t' centerin' rin' on about 1mm past t' end. Avast, me proud beauty! After t' glue dried, ya bilge rat, I put a small fillet on t' bottom o' t' centerin' ring.

After t' glue dries slip t' tube in from t' bottom o' t' rocket and you're ready t' get some serious altitude!

It's RTF, you know!

Flight:
Estes recommends t' A10-3T. Ahoy! Blimey! T' C6-7 is 4 times t' motor! T' hardest thin' is gettin' t' chute in, shiver me timbers, I wrap t' nose cone end o' t' shock cord with Estes wadding, matey, and use a long and skinny roll on t' chute. Aye aye! Fold another square o' waddin' over t' end o' t' motor tube slip t' cone half way on and them gently stuff t' chute around t' tube in t' cone. Aye aye! Ya scallywag! I inserted t' incredibly long motor and installed t' lock ring. Arrr! I checked t' copperhead igniter for shorts (I always find at least one) slid it in as far as it would go, me bucko, me hearties, folded it over and taped it t' t' lock ring. I made sure t' tell t' LCO that this is a heads up flight (that got a laugh). Ahoy! Begad! When t' LCO pushed t' button I couldn't believe how loud t' motor is! T' crowd be impressed too! Lots o' people sayin' wow! It climbed straight up over 1000 feet, (RockSim says 1280) t' chute popped a little after apogee, and came down 10 yards east o' t' pad. Begad! Begad! Inspection showed some discoloration on t' motor tube from t' heat and t' ink on t' motor label transferred t' t' inside o' t' tube! Otherwise no damage.

Summary:
Major Pros: Smoke! Noise! Altitude! Plus t' look on everyone's face when it takes off! T' only Con is that each flight costs 7 bucks! RTF can be fun!
