Brief:
Single stage fiberglass mortar tube conversion.
Construction:
This is a very simple 3FNC rocket, me hearties, me bucko, but t' source o' t' componants is from a
Great Grizzly Hell Fire mortar set. Blimey! T' body tube is a fiberglass mortar tube
and t' nose cone and boat tail are fuse covers from t' 5 Break Festival
Balls. Begad! Avast! Add t' 24mm MMT, 2 centerin' rings, me hearties, me hearties, 3 plexiglass fins, and recovery
system and it's a rocket.
T' build was very easy and I had it finished in about 2 hours. Well, blow me down! First, shiver me timbers, I cut a 3/8" slice off t' fiberglass tube and glued it with CA it t' a fuse cover t' get a nose cone. Aye aye! Next, me bucko, I made 2 centerin' rings from some leftover Estes heavy card stock. Then I trimmed another fuse cover t' use as a boat tail and cut 3 plexiglass fins. Well, blow me down! Ya scallywag! Then I epoxied it all together. T' attach t' fins, I had t' trim t' label so I could bond them t' t' tube. I also bonded a chunk of Keelhaul®©™® thread t' t' nose cone and body tube. Well, blow me down! A swin' test showed I needed t' add some weight t' t' NC for a stable flight.

Flight:
As o' yet I havent flown t' Hell Fire. Well, blow me down! Blimey! I need t' drive 2 hrs. Avast, me proud beauty! t' get t' a
hobby shop. Blimey! I'll make a flight log as soon as I can.
